ToolsPouch

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

ToolsPouch ("we", "us", "our") operates toolspouch.com (the "Service"), a set of free utilities that run inside your web browser. This policy explains what is and is not collected when you use the Service.

1. Summary

  • Tools process your input locally in your browser's memory. Your input is not sent to our servers.
  • There are no accounts and we do not ask for personal information to use the tools.
  • We do not set our own tracking cookies and do not record what you enter into tools.
  • The site shows advertising from third parties such as Google AdSense, which may use cookies (see Section 6).

2. Client-Side Processing

When you use a tool, your text, files and values are held in your browser's volatile memory (RAM) and processed by JavaScript, Web Workers or WebAssembly inside your browser's sandbox. Results are shown on your screen without being transmitted to us. When you refresh or close the tab, the browser discards that data. We keep no copy and cannot recover it.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

  • The content you enter into or generate with any tool.
  • Names, addresses, phone numbers or payment details.
  • Account credentials (the Service has no login).
  • Precise location, contacts, camera or microphone data.

4. Information Stored in Your Browser

To remember your display preference, the Service stores a single value named tp-theme (light or dark) in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device, is never sent to us and contains no personal information. You can remove it by clearing your site data.

5. Cookies and Telemetry

ToolsPouch does not set first-party tracking or analytics cookies and does not run telemetry on tool inputs. The only cookies you may encounter are those set by third-party advertising providers, described below.

6. Third-Party Advertising

We display ads to keep the Service free. Ads are served by third-party vendors, including Google.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
  • Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Advertisers never receive the content you enter into tools, because it never leaves your browser. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), consent for advertising cookies is requested through a consent mechanism.

6a. Affiliate Links

Some pages, such as hardware comparison pages, contain affiliate links to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you follow one of these links and buy something, Amazon may set its own cookies and tell us that a purchase came from ToolsPouch, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not receive your Amazon account details or what you bought beyond what the Associates programme reports to us. Amazon's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy notice.

7. Hosting and Server Logs

The Service is delivered through Cloudflare. Like any website, the delivery infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and timestamp for security and reliable delivery. This relates to loading pages, not to content processed inside tools, and is handled under Cloudflare's retention practices.

8. Data Retention

  • Tool input and output: not retained; discarded when the page is closed or refreshed.
  • Theme preference: stored in your browser until you clear it.
  • Support emails: kept only as long as needed to resolve your request, then deleted.
  • Hosting and advertising data: retained by Cloudflare and ad partners under their own policies.

9. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Because we do not receive tool content, there is none to share. We may disclose limited information such as support emails only where required by law or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, and to object to or restrict processing. As we hold little beyond emails you send us, contact us at the address below to make a request.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has contacted us, email us and we will delete it.

12. Security

The Service is delivered over HTTPS, and processing inside your browser avoids sending your content over the network. No system is perfectly secure, and you remain responsible for the security of your own device.

13. External Links

We may link to third-party sites that we do not control. Please read their privacy policies.

14. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest revision.
